One of the skills that students will practice this year, is how to write an effective essay. Below, are some points that students should follow for writing a great essay.
1. Use Times New Roman, size 12, for font.
2. Always start out by writing a thesis statement that introduces the main topic that you will cover in your essay.
3. Essays must be a minimum of two pages, except for your research paper which will have a different minimum page requirement.
4. Paragraphs are required to be indented by half an inch.
5. Always cite sources in a proper bibliography format.
